Lesson Two
There is always the expectation that you can ensure each child gets high marks for everything they do, regardless of the situation. Each child will have subjects that they enjoy more and will do better at than others. Some are better at sports and some are more creative. Each child is different, and we just want them to take in as much as they can. It is also difficult to find extra time for each child individually as there are many kids in one class.
I love teaching, with a passion for creating a space that is safe to make mistakes and learn from them. A space that is filled with laughter and growth all at the same time. I love talking to people and interacting with the kids.
Parents are difficult to deal with as they always expect the best from their kids at school. Not every child can be the best and they all have their strong suit. Parents can often be a challenge to discuss areas their child needs extra work on, especially when they are in denial. It is difficult to accept that your child may be struggling, but always best if addressed at a younger age to help them further on in life.
If a child is struggling with their homework, should you discuss this with the parents?
