Lesson One
A free software program provided by Microsoft – OneNote is essentially a Notepad app that allows you to capture, store and edit as much information as you want. The OneNote program is not only limited to Text, but also allows for images, spreadsheets, voice, and video recordings and even math problems being made available for use.
The greatest feature though is that the OneNote program is linked to your Microsoft account. Therefore, it can be made available across numerous devices where needed.
OneNote works as an initial blank page for note taking. This can then evolve into numerous pages, chapters and even books. All notes that you would once capture in a physical book can now be recorded to the cloud-based OneNote for ease of reference and safer storage. The ability to add images and media make it even better than the diary you get each year.
Right click on each block to bring up the option menu – Allowing you to edit, categories or flag the notes as you see fit.
Each note can be placed anywhere on the page and once you start typing it creates a block for the note. This can be moved around the page as you wish, helping you organise your information.
Even within one block you can move a paragraph up or down the block to arrange the information as you need it.
